I AM EFFING TIRED. I’ve been up for over 24 hours, since 5 AM on the 30th. I went out to get in line at like 1 PM, and surprisingly there was only a few people. We played our DS’ for the majority of the waiting time, and someone brought SSBM (with a generator) for some reason… Yeah my teacher showed up around 5 when the line was getting big, and stayed for a while. By 10 the end was probably waaay down the street. (I keep stopping… so tired…) <insert more rambling about time here> So finally at 12:00 they opened the doors and two of my friends got a copy, I got one for myself and my teacher (paid me money before leaving say “I have work tomorrow. D:”) Got home like 1, everyone body went home to their separate houses. I then got my “setup” up. My on-ear headphones directly into the TV, my softest chair, my 40-something inch TV (on HD mode), like a HUGE HUUUUUUGE drink and chips. All was set. I boot in (my nonmoddded JP Wii) and played. That’s the jist of it. I didn’t play any SSE in the 7-8 hours I’ve had the game. I went straight to VS mode to practice with the two returning characters and a new character with two CPs. I tried Ike, his “third” jump can pretty much kill you as much as it can save you. I “main” two returning characters for sure. And the new character (might end up as a returning too) for back up. Play various stages, etc, with items. Delfino Island is made of fail, it transports you to different parts of the island and gets me all mixed up. I did the most linear stage I could play (I think it was the Zelda one, not too sure) and a “group favorite” the Pictochat one. It’s really “kinky” since random things appear (like giant spears) and they damage you. I got hit by a CP when I was around 109% and flew then all of a sudden this thing (I suppose it is a monster) appears behind me and I get hit into space. Needless to say it was fun, though saddening. By 5 one of my friends call me to Wifi battle, so I had to get a FC. Got that and played Wifi against each other. There as some lag, but since it’s in the same city it wasn’t much. I was lucky my Wifi didn’t cut out like it usually does. Intense at it is, I still lost. Then again, the person I played has ALWAYS been better than me, and using what I think were pretty cheap characters [Metaknight, IMO] Oh yeah, during the waiting period there really is a punching bag you can hit and a counter on the top. Once it counts down it’ll pause for a second (well for me it did) and then dim the screen and say “Ready!” then the fight starts practically automatically. Then I did random challenges after an hour of Wifi. The challenges really remind of my Kirby Air Ride for GCN. Except that you choose challenges like Melee. I only did the real simple ones, like beat this enemy or KO this particular person, etc. I’m going to sleep for like 20 hours now, so I’ll play SSE when I wake up.
For those a GBAtemp, I HOPE BRAWL NEVER GETS DUMPED YOU PIRATES! RAWR!!
THIS GUY wins my “Awesome award” of the day.
Goodnight everyone, Twi.
